The cotton mill express is running on the 30th as I guess most off you will know.

All I was wondering is were are the best place to get some nice picture of it on the mainline? I live in Sheffield. I was going to travel to Wakefield to see it but figured that there maybe some better place to spot it coming past along the line near there.

    Cheers

No I do not currently volunteer
try this thread for more locations not to bother with:-

if you can get to copy pit, between burnley and todmorden, on the A646, from burnley past walk mill, the road crosses the line with sharp right then left and there's a large layby usually full an hour before the train is due to pass. thats a good spot but a long way from sheffield, and not near wakefield. the nearest the train goes to wakefield is brighouse/ huddersfield.

Yes I am an active volunteer
I'm either going to go on the hill slopes that look down onto Lydgate viaduct or Copy Pit for 46115 run on the CME.
