    No I do not currently volunteer
    Are there any heritage railways out there that have a proper fuel point to fill tanks on diesel locomotives with diesel?.
    If not how do you fuel up your locomotive?

    As I understand down at barrow hill they have a Laurie come in that fill all of the loco up.

    They have a what??
    At Llangollen, the diesel locos are filled directly from road tankers. The Railcars have their own dedicated fuel point which is a commercially made tank and pump unit.

    Locomotives can only be fuelled directly from the tanker if the correct adapter for the hose end is used.
