I am assuming 101692 is back in traffic then or is it the 141?

I doubt it'll be any of those! 101's in SPT Livery and 141's wern't very common in the 1960's! ;)

So what's your DMU going to be then? The operational half of Daisy?

Not sure yet, I'm discussing it with the DMU Group at the moment. Daisy is certainly one possibility. Whatever DMU it is, it'll be Green and from the 1960's!

Is that station finished yet? I remember the foundations a few years ago and would love to see the finished product

The former Syston Station is pretty much externally finished, it just requires a couple more windows putting in and that sort of thing.

Externally it requires some work, however the booking hall area should be open this year. Hopefully it'll be open for the 1960's Event.
The area which will eventually become a bar will take a while longer but will be worth it in the end!

    Hi,

Yes, there are certainly more enthusiast events this year, along with other non-enthusiast events (such as Thomas, Ivor, Paddington etc) which arn't listed on the events page at www.mrbevents.co.uk (as its centred around the enthusiast!)

There are more two train running days this year as well. I've worked on the timetables to make them better. The C Timetable is our two train service.

If you want a "sneak peak" at this years timetables then they're here.

    Thanks,

    Paul
