    Personally I think we should all be very grateful that railway's actually have steam galas! We know that we will never really be able to recreate the past, so what's the harm in trying and if sometimes it's not quite right...who cares! I and many others had an amazing day the the GC and we should be thanking them, not criticizing them for getting something 'wrong'. The past is in the past....lets make the future! We are so lucky with what we have, so lets not be ungrateful!

    I'm not trying to offend anyone, this is just my view...
