Judging by that it looks like the proposed steam banking up from Weymouth could be off then this summer. Hopefully this wont be the case as it mentions RTC are currently putting together their 2010 brochure, but will wait and see as its not looking good at the moment unfortunately.

Looks like RTC have lost the plot for this one, webpage says route is again via Stockport, but online booking has it going via Man Vic, and we have a new engine 'Dukes of Sutherland' has it had a sex change!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not as bad as their Summer Cumbrian Mountain Excpresses. Webpage shows these running from York and picking up at Yorkshire stations but their online booking page shows them departing Liverpool, picking up at St Helens, Wigan and Preston !!

I think whoever did the RTC webpage had a few 'too many drinks' while he/she was at his/her computer.

The rostered engines for the Scarborough Flyer's are the same as last year, 6201 Princess Elizabeth', 60009 'Union of South Africa' and 6233 'Duchess of Sutherland' Not Dukes of Sutherland ;)

"2010’s tours and trips include the stunning Welsh coastline’s Pembroke Coast Express from Bristol temple Meads to historic Pembroke Dock… with plenty of interesting stops in between! We run two very special trips aboard the breathtaking Orient Express during August. Our spectacular Heart of Midlothian trip stops off in the vibrant city of Edinburgh, steam-hauled from York." ???????

Is 71000 likely to replace 60009?
I see from 71000 Trust web site that it's hoped that DoG will be ready to work ELR services by the end of January.
