    From what ive heard, it was an amazing performance. I have great respect for the crew, 14 coaches without a diesel is something i didnt realise u were allowed to do.
    Should go down in the books. Gave some good speeds from what i saw.

    It's going back a while but in the late 1970s I saw 92220 taking 14 up the bank between Headingly and Horsforth. The sound was spectacular.

    Tornado's trip to Cardiff is virtually sold out( Except for a few seats in Pullman). The Premier Dining on the trip to York in May is sold out, while availability in Pullman is limited, and First Class very limited.

    60009 had 14 on on a southbound s&c on 20/4/02
    4472 had 14 and a class 47 on on a vsoe york to london on 30/10/02 and the same on 21/11/02

    Using the bridge west of Andover as a reference point, and assuming the 14 coaches were all Mk1 length, I think 60163 was doing 65mph at that point. Was anyone from NP on the train and taking a GPS log?
