I was at the CVR last Saturday for a Matt Allen/Warwick Falconer organised photo charter with 80072. The weather was kind to us and with the help of an enthusiastic crew a good time was had.
Thanks to the crew and Matt and Warwick for a great day.
My photos of the day can now be found on my fotopic site.

Finally got my pics sorted (following a hard disk crash!). Was a cracking couple of days, the weather was superb. We did have to be patient, I'm sure at some locations we waited 40 mins for the sun but it was worth the wait.

The CVR where awesome, we shall definitely be back. Thanks go to Chris Meadowcroft for arranging the two days and all the other guys at the CVR who helped out on the day, nothing was too much trouble. How we even managed to run on the Sunday due to snow I'm not sure, it's a real credit to the railway they didn't just throw the towell in. A couple of images, the rest are on my website and there are more to come!

Gollocks! Shame I had to work Saturday evening otherwise I might've stayed around for Sunday. Very nice Matt. I assume the shot over the canal is where we were just before lunch on the Saturday?

Another one of my photos from Saturday (see the CVR Gala thread for another)
