70013 Haywards Heath-Bath and Bristol March 6th

I'll be up early in the morning to see 70013 leave Haywards Heath on Saturday and hopefully on arrival back. Second time I'll have seen Olly C.

 

I intend to see it at Cosham. Am looking forward to it. Need to make sure she is in good shape for her trip over the crossing onto the NNR!

 

Is the positioning move to heywards heath in the morning going via the quarry route or via redhill? cheers.

I believe this is the case as engineering works are taking place in the Dorking area and Three Bridges to Billingshurst (from what I saw earlier coming back from college).

 

I presume it will be maroon wcrc stock, as it is coming from southall.

 

I shall be up very early to see her at Hassocks then crossing the Arun at Ford on my way to the Mid Hants Gala

 

My Dad and I will probably go to the road bridge over the line where Clayton Tunnel is to phot Cromwell. But off home then afterwards & unfortunately no Mid-Hants gala for us this year as we've been going to the Bluebell practically every w/e for the past 3 or 4 weeks and then it's back up there next Saturday for the PTS course and the missus and mother are getting a bit naffed off with my Dad and I with it all.

 

The train is reported to consist of 11 dual braked coaches plus support coach. For photographers around the

I'd imagine its the Mark2 set in Southern Green as thats whats usually based at Southall.

 

uksteam.info says wcrc, which is maroon.

Through Horley on time, lots of steam and smoke and going well.

Was slightly late through Hove, only by a few mins, can't be precise as was too busy looking at 70013

Would have pics if it wasnt for a gentleman who thought it fun to stand right on the end of the platform ramp in everyones way
