    Hi All

Can anybody help with a Isle of Man Steam Railway loco ID & confirmation that the location is Douglas IOM.
The photos are old B/W and not very clear, especially the one with 3 locos on view

Yes, both pictures were taken at Douglas IOM. The loco in the station is no. 16 I think, or whichever was the most recent engine with a more modern type of cab than the older 2-4-0 tanks.

The first one is No.16 Mannin built in 1926 by Beyer Peacock. On the second photo I'm not sure but the one on the right could be either No.9 Douglas of 1896 or former Manx Northern Railway No.3 (IOMR No.14) Thornhill as they kept the original style of safety valves, altough don't quote me on that.

Thanks guys for you answers, also members of the IOM forum have confirmed it as Douglas, the single loco is 16 Mannin, and the nearest loco to the signal box in the second pic is 14 Thornhill
