    Saw in Steam Railway that GWR Dukedog 9017 has been 'colonialised' for a Disney film! Any ideas what filum???

    Was told what the film is due to be called but can't remember I'm afraid - sorry, not very helpful I know! Anyhow, 9017 now looks like her normal self again and was in service today.

    It looks real to me! The support columns of the cowcatcher beam resting on the buffers are throwing a shadow across the front edge of the smokebox as is the lamp on the top edge.

    If it is an April Fools then it is a pretty naff one. I know that City of Peterborough was 'Europeanised' this winter for, I think, Poirot. If it happened well done to the owners for finding another source of income, if it didn't that is a rubbish April Fools!
