Indeed - today was the first time I've seen her and I thought she was stunning. And what a great noise!

Absolutely stormed through Sydney Gardens at 1825. Probably the loudest thing I've ever heard! Very impressive indeed! :D

I am definitely looking forward to seeing some video clips posted from there

I'm very tempted now to go on "The Waverley" next week, to ride behind her over Shap.

That's certainly fast. The train didn't leave Bristol TM until 18:03. It absolutely roared through Keynsham. <BJ>

18:55 passed Swindon. You could hear her a mile off trying to catch up time, and a bit dryer than earlier!

There is an water stop at Wantage Road, so it might make up a bit of time?

Yeah, noticed that the water stops are quite brief !! Also due 13 min stop at Reading junc for some unknown reason, which could again make up time! better be off now, I reckon. Catching her alomg the electrics line out of Reading isn't the best of places for views with all the trees lining rail. But it makes for great sound effects as we saw with the duchess last year. Also of course, accelerating away from Reading station if from standing is exhilarating with the sound bouncing off all the high rises. Kings and Castles...ooooohhh ....
