6233 Duchess of Sutherland in Steam at Crewe Heritage Centre

For those who may be interested the Crewe Heritage Centre will be open between 4pm and 8pm this Friday the 23rd of April where newly painted black No 6233 Duchess of Sutherland will be in steam. It is hoped to be able to offer footplate rides during the opening.

6233 is scheduled to be running Ex Butterley as 5Z30 so if she is on time will arrive at Crewe at 13:53. Thanks to 76079 for the info.

 

Would love to be there but I'll be in Llangollen getting prepared for the Steam Gala!

However it is good to see that the CHC are doing more of these evening sessions as the last one with Tornado seem to be quite popular.

 

I will try and find out when she is due and update this thread.
