I visited the Bluebell Railway again yesterday and I have uploaded the film to YouTube. The locations are Horsted Keynes, the footpath at Great Oddynes, the occupation bridge on the footpath from Town Place and Sheffield Park. Most of the footage is of ‘P’ Class 178 in its new SECR livery, but other locos making an appearance are ‘C’ Class 592, BR4 tank 80151 and Dukedog 9017 ‘Earl of Berkeley’. ‘Stepney’ seemed to be locked away in the workshop.

One other thing though, 178 seems to have a ‘hooter’ whistle instead of the usual SECR shriek, does anyone know why?

    Regards

That's the whistle She arrived with from Bowaters. No idea why they changed it, but it has character, and we like it ;-)
