Are 60163's headlamps permanent?

Sorry if this is general knowledge, but I've only just noticed that wherever she is and whatever shes doing, 60163 always has the same two headlamps on each end of the bufferbeam. I challenge you to find a picture since she started mainline running where this isn't the case, because I've looked and they are ALWAYS there. On LE moves and when on preserved railways or on shed at the Barrow Hill event where other headcodes would have been more appropriate. This picture(not mine) http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=272748 shows that a different headlamp is used for the centre, which seems to create an awkward mismatch, especially on the Royal Train. I know that the smaller indicator lamps can be operated from the cab, but would the permanence of the large LED headlights mean that they can be operated from the cab also?

I'm probably not right, but it just seems possible seen as to me they seem to be always there!

Yes I am an active volunteer
From memory, the LED lamps plug in to sockets on the marker lamps, and may well be operated by the same circuit/switch. They are removable as far as I know, but I'm sure someone better qualified that I will confirm or otherwise.
