Hello! Any East Somerset volunteers out there? Thinking of joining/volunteering (didn't realise it was as close/easy to get to from mine as it is) and wondered what it was like, what the guys there were like and...well if it'll be good?

Just go along and ask. Try doing a few things and see what you like. Some railwaymen can be friendly; others can be right whinging moaning buggers but if you do come across any, and they get on your tits, you can move onto another departmnt.

Why not come along to the loco shed any Saturday or Sunday and have a chat to the volunteers there We like to think we are a friendly bunch!
