With all the lines at Clapham they'd probably get fried long before getting anywhere near, even as say a Support Crew i think i'd feel nervy with all that 3rd rail around.

You're not wrong David, you definitely need your wits about you at Clapham and it's not just the 3rd rail you need to be wary of. Those e.m.u's even when switched off, the pick up gear still stores a hefty charge.

The juice rail doesn't bother them. I've chased graffiti artists out of the Wimbledon depot many times and there's stacks of 3rd rail there too. 30777 ended up at Clapham due to her being booked through a possession Saturday night for it's trip back to Southall.

It couldn't return to Southall on 3 July due to engineering works. It will move this afternoon (Thu 8/7) from Clapham Yard to Southall, I'm told.
