60019 kings cross york thursday 15/6/10

    i have seen on rtn yahoo group that 60019 has failed with exhaust ejector problems, trip running with 2 class 47's, anyone else seen anything about it?

    60019 has certainly failed with exhaust injector problems, don't know about the tour operator's contingency plans.

    passed ferme park about half an hour ago. 37/7 leading the stock into kings x, with 47/7 on the front. Couldn't get the numbers from the train i was on

    A quick clip from this afternoon. With nothing better to do with my time, I had a quick trip over to Colton. Nothing special, a storm was on it's way so the wind had picked up, cars parked everywhere. Pitty about 60019 had quite a nice location I wanted to try... Hopefully she'll be back fit again.

    No a lot of them didn't know... Quite a lot of them at the other side of the bridge stayed after I'd left... Whether they were waiting for some freight or something I haven't a clue. I was more concerned about getting back and not having to drive through the heavy rain that was heading that way...
