With the WHHR AGM imminant, perhaps this is a last chance to take a different direction and move towards working with reality.

Let us hope that some one declares peace

Ferengi Rules of Acquisition: Rule 76. Every once in a while, declare peace. It confuses the hell out of your enemies.

you never know, it might work....

We should also remember Rule of Acquisition number 95 (and, incidently, 45...its an important rule), Expand or Die.

Rule of Acquisition Number 62 - The riskier the road, the greater the profit
Rule of Acquisition Number 190 - Hear all, trust nothing!

    (190...quite fitting...)

Sorry, I properly geeked out that and had to prove to myself how good I was lol.

Wait...we're quoting Star Trek lore on a steam railway forum...this is proper geeking out!

I had assumed it had something to do with "Mornington Crescent".

So had I but couldn't work out which variation had been invoked. Was it Burnett's Central Line Exception or Lyttleton's Last Revenge?

It would appear that they are playing MC on an old board with the circle line still running in a circle not as now as a spiral.

OK, I don't intend to leave this derailed, as I started it by quoting RoA No 76. Shall we get back to the topic?
(if you all want I can start threads discussing RoAs and playing MC - any takers?)

What I think the OP was trying to get at, is that is high time a peace process was initiated, but perhaps a regime change is required? or have I misunderstood?

I agree with you Sir, would you like the job as it would make many people very happy if this was sorted out?

    Regards
