As Sidmouth says, an item's value is what the buyer is willing to pay!
However, there are a lot of factors involved in trying to estimate prices (and even experts get it wrong! - and I'm not an expert at valuations of this sort, even costing restoration work has a wide range of unknowns to play with!)
One of the major aspects will be the current condition, (is it grounded?) and the intended future use(s). I could write quite an essay on this.

    Hello Josh,

Expect to pay 200 for the coach as described and 200,000 for a full restoration. Transport to your location would add 1200.
The value is in the condition.

Also, you will not achieve a turnaround from the condition you describe on your own. You can only hope to achieve to complete a project such as this, with the help of a knowledgeable group of supporters. Their are many different skills involved in bringing a derelict vehicle into service.

Which coach are you considering? Is it one of the D.1692 vehicles currently awaiting attention? or something else?

I would suggest that you join an existing group, progressing one or more LMS vehicles, to further your interest. I can put you in touch if you want to follow this route?

Let me know which way you intend to jump?

    cheers

Thanks for the replys people. Observer the coach that i am looking at is curently at the Railway where i vollenteer so there would be no transport costs. As you said i am hoping to be able to get a few people together to help with the restoration expecialy the joinery side. Its not one of the D.1692 vehicles but i dont want to say which it is at the moment untill the purchese has gone through. Again as you said im going to get in contact with the LMS carraige association as im hoping i can source a lot of the materials needed through groups like them.

    Thanks again for the info.

    Regards Josh
