Just started processing mine, probably be up very later on or tomorrow....no rush eh?
Of course if you want to buy me one of those nice 6 core CPU's I'd get the next video rendered a bit quicker :)

Finally got back into victoria 20 late after a 30 min late departure from gloucester due to overrunning servicing. Problems on the way back led to a rather slow run into the capital. I heard that it was due to cylinder trouble but i wouldnt take my word for it. It was My first trip behind 44932, and what a loco she is. Very vocal return and a very good attack of sapperton. Sadly not as loud as cromwell last year but that will take some beating!
I sent some txts in at gloucester, wantage and earley and was wondering whether they came through ok?

Sounds from the third part of this video like she had the notorious LMS-style stuck cylinder drain-cock..... No doubt Ralph will be able to tell us more.....

After hearing it when recording at Frampton Crossing and seeing Bill's video I would think it is possibly a piston gland blowing.

    Cheers Dave

That appeared to be the problem at North Camp. She was still going well though. After all they are really still running her in. Great pictures and videos folks.

Rode the train and heard the engine. Didn't sound healthy on the way back and it got worse. My guess is also gland packing but there are others with more expertise who will know for sure. Let's hope that this is a straightforward repair that can do done well away from base.
