Can anyone confirm 5043 is still the booked power for Sunday please - http://www.shakespeareexpress.com/se/se_locomotive.htm is still listing it as TBA. Thanks in advance.

Nice shots Rick, i always thought that spot at Rowington had potential for a pan, but always assumed the sun would be the wrong side for an afternoon shot so haven't used it in ages.

 

4965 on duty again today, i decided to visit Bearley Junction before the Box and Semaphores are removed, and have added a couple of pics from the morning run to Stratford: http://david1984.fotopic.net/c1868022_1.html

The Earl put on a good display to bring another era on the North Warwick to a close.

Henley-in-Arden golf course on the second trip. One of the semaphores just visible through the smoke towards the back of the train.

 

Nice photo at Henley Martin. I had thought about going there, but I didn't have time to suss out any locations beforehand, and pretty much stumbled upon the golf course location by accident!

 

I travelled on the Shakespeare Express for the first time today. It was an excellent trip. I took a few pictures of Bearley West Signal Box and the semphore signals from the train. Not sure if I made the best use of the location near Bearley West for the last run of the season.
