According to an RTC advert in today's Evening Standard, it will be hauled by 44932

How strange that RTC can publish newspaper advertisements updating readers about the engine for this train, and yet it is not capable of updating its website to show the same information !

Just as well it's a black five, if it was Tornado all news readers would be walking off there local station

platform with the Granny and dog to go and see it.

If you book tickets online, there is a £5 discount for this and the 'Cornishman'.

Another 'Easterling' has failed to reach Lowestoft. That's the 3rd. 44932 failed at Norwich with big-end problems. 37706 en-route from London to take train back down the GEML. 44932 to be moved to Crown Point Depot for repairs.

Loco 44932 now resident at Crown Point depot pending repairs to RH connecting rod big end bearing white metal / driving wheel crank pin. Fingers crossed it'll be back on the mainline very soon.

My first born entered this world on Tuesday, and as a good helpful dad I was rewarded with an hour at Stratford this morning to see 44932 "going like a train", (but 70013 definitely has the edge it on it through here earlier this year), and the rescue loco chasing behind (I was told it was going to Ilford, but it came through Stratford at a fair pace as well).

44932 looked and sounded good going through Brentwood this morning and although it was sad she later failed it was good to see a 37 in full flight back on the Great Eastern again this evening.

Hoping the 5"s problems are not too bad and she is soon fixed.

Damage to bearings on motion; suspect white metal bearing starved of oil or has
run hot for another reason. Loco is now residing at NC until further
    notice/repairs completed/towed away.
