Wonder if anyone would be able to help me

Im on a short break in the Lake District from the 27th, the L&H appears to be operating but have absolutely no idea what might be in traffic that week, hoping for one of the Fairburns (42073 ideally) but cant find any hint of a roster on their website, might be more tempted to give Ravenglass a try if one of the Industrials is out.

If time allows David, why not do both?

That would be my ideal choice Anthony but doing that choice with family in tow might produce a few grumbles!.

In previous years it seemed to be a 7 day a week service hauled by Cumbria, but not anymore.

From memory Fairburns used to come out on a Tuesday when longer trains due to coach trips.

Never had a problem with gen on the day(that old fashioned telephone thing)

The Foxfield wagons are locally known as WindBreakers not windcutters.....

Got bowled by Austerity Repulse in the end and the weather that week was something less than brilliant but still had a lovely day out non the less, least the shed at Haverthwaite is accessible which is good in this day and age: http://david1984.fotopic.net/c1905451.html

Any ideas for the loco roster for the November diesel weekends?

Hope the 20 and 27 are out at the same time.

    Best Regards
