On low loader southbound at 3pm on Friday, south of Carnforth. Any ideas which one and where it's from and going to?

Thanks - any idea of its identity? Or its previous location? Was it at Carnforth?

The LMS inspection saloon is 46028 and it was based at Carnforth. I believe that it wants quite a bit of work doing on the inside before the Gala.

    Hello All,
Yes that is 45028 and it was on its way to the Churnet Valley. The inside is quite good only needing carpets, blinds and furniture (furniture coming soon) in the saloons. It was in a very bad state when I got it in 1994, all 77 windows broken, big rust holes and fire damage. I spent a lot of time and money getting it to the present state with Carnforths help.
    Bye,
    Malcolm Humphries.
