    45337 made it's first passengeer runs since overhaul on the ELR last weekend. It is scheduled to make it's first gala appearance at the October Steam Gala. Pop over to the main website where information is posted about the engines running for that weekend http://east-lancs-rly.co.uk/

    Happened to be in Ramsbottom when it rolled in on sunday lunchtime. (2nd trip I believe of the day). It was supposed to have been doubleheaded with the jinty but that failed.
    15 mins after it left 37901 arrived LE and crossed over the level cross into the sidings. I beleive it went as a precaution only if anything went wrong.
    Looks very nice and a final coat of paint still needed to LMS livery I believe.

    45337 was the first engine I travelled behind on the ELR back in August 2004, so hoping before the year is over to get a ride behind her again.

    According to the ELR website 45337 is due to work trains on Sunday of this weekend, the blue (2 train) timetable will be in use.

    45337 is not visiting Llangollen's Autumn Gala. With regards to what is happening to the loco, maybe the owning group will make a statement sometime.

    i would like to see it go to Churnet Valley and double head with 44767 up to cauldon Lowe. this would mean the loop would need to be put into service.
