Thanks Frank - more details at www.blackpooltramevents.co.uk - specially the 'anniversary week' page which has links to the details of the various tours.

unfortunately, the Railway herald paints a rather dull picture as far as visiting trams go.
but hey, without looking at whats above, and comparing notes, looks good enough.
    Thanks Frank.

    Just to note

279 and 143 are out of the picture - not ready

Oporto 273 - not listed - is in disgrace for dewiring and won't appear again, and no Crich double deckers will now appear due to trees along the road causing damage with the first attempted move

Pantograph 167 failed on Saturday but is still listed as running - watch this space and the link provided by Paul

Otherwise - the above listing is as written

Weatherspoons at the Tower, and Bispham Kitchen, what more could you want? and no 05.00 alarm calls or 03.50 into bed - unless you are part of some stag or hen do on the prom

Tram depot open day was excellent ! Couldn't have ordered better weather. Was nice to meet some Nat Pres members there, hope you made barrow loads of cash for the bus Frank!

    Cracking weekend Grommit!

As per usual at Depot open days too much time was spent nattering to do any fotting until after the event closed - but there were already over 100 frames from Thursday to Saturday, and now there are more - 10.30 Tour off Rigby Road tomorrow - so they won't get done tonight - but please note - that is TEN THIRTY - not half past five at some God forsaken backwater.

We are still commuting to and fro to Blackpool, so any visits to the virtual world will be fleeting in the extreme - at least you can't say that I am high profile - you can only see my mits on the steering wheel! So my anonymity remains assured - eh John??

Ralph - Black Cat collected on the way to the coast today - we had to win a mascot at Coral Island as I wasn't for paying £35.00 for a dealership example. Goes rather well it does too! Its just that - as usual in these things - I went over budget - Doh!!

Nah - only ever used it once in 32 yrs to break a window! It was a genuine GCR one - far too valuable to use on people !
