The Friday timetable on the GCR website says it is. See links from http://www.gcrailway.co.uk/Events.aspx?ID=242.

I looked over the bridge at Loughborough the other day and I'm pretty sure that all the visitors are facing south. I think that the only north-facing loco on the railway at the moment is the 8F - but not 100% sure about that. As for the Deltic, I've no idea which way that's facing :)

Thanks for that Raimondo, as long as the Deltic isn't facing sideways eh, Wardy

Yes, because the visitors are doing TPO runs, they are facing south.

Can anyone confirm whether the driver for a tenner is going ahead tomorrow? And if so, what time is this operating? Thanks

Was down there this last Saturday, and it was all hands on the pumps, she looked superb ! If she doesn't make it, it won't be for the want of trying !

And judging by the firepower in the yard, should be a cracking event !

Just looked over the bridge this morning and 45305 is there in the yard all ready to go and looks great. Not in steam today, but it is now on the timetable for Saturday and Sunday, so I guess it must be OK.

Is it possible to Buy a WTT from the booking office at Loughbough this year? The reason I ask is last year (for whatever reason) they refused to sell me or my Dad one which kind of runined the day. As I'd hate the same to happen this year I wouldnt mind knowing in advance before I waste 300 miles worth of petrol.

Yes; there is a gala programme, it costs £2.50, the only reason they may "refuse to sell you one" is that they may have sold out already.

Went over on Friday to pick up a WTT very busy on the platform and lineside great news for the GCR. The weather was dull but plenty of great action from the locomotives in steam.Looking forward to Sunday better forecast all round. A shot of the K4 taken on Friday.

A collection of shots from Friday. Not the best of weather! The railway was very busy, loads of bums on seats. And Loughborough station was buzzing as JOEM was doing drive for a Tenner runs up and down the line.

    Night shots to come later!!
    Regards to all Rick
