I'm surprised that this tour hasn't a thread. Anyone riding or lineside for this tomorrow? No times as yet on UK steam either.

Looking forward to seeing the Scot on the S & C, the only times i have seen are Carlisle arr 12.40, dpt 15.38. I assume she will follow the limited stop service train north.

 

Those times tie up with last years times for this tour. Lets hope the weather improves as it is rather foggy here in west yorkshire today at 11:10.

 

I am looking to be out for this one, if the forecast is right I may head up to Blea Moor for a shot of her leaving the viaduct, the only problem with that at this time of the year may be the sun's position - soemthing we very rarely have to worry about on the S&C

 

Times now on uk steam. Blea Moor for me if the weather clears up!

If possible, can someone advise when left carlisle. Appreciated.

Report on North East Gen that is passed Greenhead 9 early at 16:10 with 47500 on the rear.

Has been full dull all day here in County Durham, so little point looking for it at 18:20ish.

Thanks for sharing, nice clips. 12 and a 47 is a good load for a Scot, shame about the drain tap but she sounded like she was going well and on the S&C at least the diesel didnt seem to be doing much.
