London Transport pannier L99 has only 3 more rostered public steamings during its loan period at the Spa Valley Railway, on Sunday 17th Oct then the Branch line gala weekend 23rd/24th Oct. For details of the latter see the gala thread.

Sorry to be the doom-monger, but do we know where she is off to after that?

I would've thought Quainton Road, as Met No.1 is due out of traffic soon. But I'm probably wrong!

Met 1 at Quainton has its final steaming prior to expiry of it boiler ticket this coming Sunday, October 17th. To make an event of it, Sentinel 6515 ('Isebrook') and the oldest surviving Andrew Barclay 0-4-0 'Swanscombe' will also be in steam and running.

I believe that L99 still has a couple of years of its present hire contract to go before return to Quainton.

Yes L99 is running both days this weekend - loco roster should be on Spa Valley web site. She is then off hire so will not run again at SpVR.

Nothing to report at our end Steadyeddie. L99 is currently in the shed at Tunbridge Wells being prepared for its annual boiler exam. Once this is done, she will be stored at the Spa until such time that she is moved to another railway.

Anyone know how long it'll stay at the NNR for please? The NNR is local to me but I'm just off out of the country for a month.
