    Is this simulation software REALLY that good, or is this just some clever pre-Christmas publicity?

    Might get a copy if it's any good - just for my kids to play with, of course!! :heh:

    Yes I am an active volunteer
    It is a good game. Graphics are lower than I expected but that's not really what you buy the game for. It is much better than TrainSim.

    Have a gander at www.uktrainsim.com (especially the RailWorks forum), for screenshots etc. If you have a decent computer, well worth a purchase and the developers themselves are active members of the community.

    It doesn't look to bad but is a bit similar Railworks 1 especially that the routes are the same. The Downloads look good like the Bulleids and 4472 packs so I may get it one day. I have the Tornado version which I love mainly because I can use Tornado's chime whistle. Sadly I can't play it because my laptop was the only thing that could play it and the hard drive went.
