A young chap called Taliesin Coombes has won "Young Landscape Photographer of the Year Award" with a photo of a Black 5 and a cooked breakfast:

Scroll down to see two other winning and commended photos he took. Maybe you are one of the photographers he photoed near Pinmore Viaduct in "Taking the Shot".

Pretty impressive - and he's got a website too:

I think the "Adult Living the view - Highly commended" (10th down) is brilliant.

He is a local photographer to Skipton and takes photos for the Craven Herald, Stephen has won many awards and has been afforded the back page of the weekly paper for his pictures, some of this years are on this link http://www.cravenherald.co.uk/news/newsphotogalleries/photos_local/ He is also a thouroughly decent bloke who will talk about photography all day when I see him at the local rugby matches, where I try and take some not so professional snaps :)

We had some discussion of this on the scot-rail group and it was pointed out that the railpictures profile indicates the images were taken by either Robin or Taliesin http://www.railpictures.net/members/viewprofile.php?id=43934 even though the copyright indicates Robin's name. I hope (and assume) that the ideas and execution of the winning images were Taliesin's, in which case, it's a shame that Robin essentially takes the credit for them on railpictures. I notice that much of their web presence is a joint venture and it isn't clear who took what. I think this is a shame because Taliesin is clearly a very talented photographer for his age and should be given appropriate credit.
