The old girl looked stunning throug Reigate this afternoon, a full rake of Pullmans and a 67 on the back. Fingers crossed the injector trouble is behind her.

    Matt,

The 47 was 47760 which was on its way to Three Bridges to assist 44932.

    Hope this helps,
    Michael

On time through Clapham, and held outside Victoria.. just long enough for me to jump a service train and catch it arriving at Victoria.

I must admit to having read that on a Yahoo Group. I happened to see it trundle by Virginia Water and thought it a bit out of the ordinary - don't know how it got from there to Three Bridges, but I'm guessing via Guildford and Redhill.

Good to see her back and in fine form yesterday at Chilworth. She lost her grip a few times though but was masterfully handled up to Albury. She sounded great coming up from Shalford. Wonderful to hear that distinctive Bulleid beat again.

Anyone know the reason for the last minute diversion down the mainline instead of via Staines?

Looks like there was an engineers' possession in Stewarts Lane area that meant it had to go out via Pouparts Junc, I think.
