44932 Cathedrals Express to Ely 15 Dec

Given this is advertised to start at Shalford,can anyone say where it is actually coming from? Possibly ECS from Southall via Redhill and Gomshall?

 

sorry to say she failed at redhill this morning hope they get her up and running by 15th we will have to wait and see;

Sorry no! It's DL hauled via Guildford with "5" on the rear, if it's mended.

I also would really like to echo Alastair question, what is happening with 44932 and the trip, and also what time is she dew through Cambridge? does anyone out there no?

Just read on another Cathedrals link , that 44932 is being repaired today for tomorrow! Good luck boy's see u at Ely? Well fingers crossed anyway?

Any news yet? Has 44932 been repaired or has a replacement loco (hopefully another Black 5) taken over? The train ought to be plodding its way around North London at the moment...

Light engine + ecs? Can't be both. Either it's a light engine or it isn't. Do you mean loco + support coach?

Oh well, all will be revealed once 60007 appears. Thanks for the heads up anyway.

 

No. 7 booked 13.05 through Stevenage Ian.

ECS for tomorrow's tour booked to run round in Ely station from 15.10 to 15.38, 47804 doing the honours.

 

Oh, and No. 7 is engine and coach. Runs about an hour ahead of the Carnforth to Norwich ECS from Ely.

 

44932 through Cheshunt at 12:26.

 

Passed through Milton (just north of Cambridge) roughly on time. I was already wet from cycling there, so I didnt fancy sticking around to see if 60007 would come through.....

 

44932 with ECS to March through Manea 14.39, about on time. Very cold, wet and windy out in the Fens today!
