Had phone call this morning confirming my booking, but then I still have to get to London so hopefully first train of the day is running.

More or less on time in Ashford. Picture taken about a mile or so out of AShford on the line across the Marsh. Very poor conditions, 47 on the back sounded like it was giving a bit of a push - probably a good idea in the conditions[IMG]

what time did this return to victoria. I was waiting around for it for 15 or so minutes near vic after it was due in, in the rain and saw no sign. It still hadn't arrived in vic 10 mins later

Once 35028 was dragged out to Stewarts Lane 44932 came into platform 2 about 10 minutes after.

I think she might have been stacked up outside Grosvenor bridge area unless it was running late.

I was watching from by the BTP headquaters where trains were being stacked. 35028 was waiting there for 10 mins. It was probably too dark for me to get any shots 44932

Great bits of film, well done for braving the elements. Clan Line was chattering very nicely, a big train, 13 + Diesel and difficult to tell how much the diesel was assisting, great performance as well.

Thank you! I don't think the diesel was on anything other than tickover (or whatever the technical term is!) so it was all Clan Line. A lovely steady climb, could hear her climbing away for ages after she passed.
