    Thanks for the picture, nice to see them back home.

    Here is a lovely film of 45160 on shunting duty along with a S-160;

    I seem to have missed this, but who owns the two locomotives and where is their ultimate destination?

    Thanks for taking the time to upload those photos Anthony, it will be interesting to see her when you have the display set up.

    To be fair, I only took and posted the inital photo, but it's really nice to see others' takes on the event - and the photographer was standing next to me for a lot of the pics! As for ownership Neil, it is only fair at the moment to say that they are privately owned.
    Many thanks
    Anthony

    So maybe i'm granular but I noticed 1 8F seems to have a rectangular buffer beam, the other a curved corner radius bufferbeam like most LMS locomotives

    Is this a difference between LMS and WD versions, just something that happened during it's life or just one of them things ?

    The front buffer beam will have been a replacement fitted in Turkey, the buffers aren't of the original pattern either.

    Aye true, but you've got one, is it the same one that the group that own 76084 are going to restore?

    Very good. Are you asking yourself the inevitable question now Anthony, would you rather have a 8F to restore or a steam roller?.....

    You can get the family on a steam roller? well yes you can, one on the regulator, one steering and the chlidren sitting in the coal bunker. My brother used to do that.

    The clouds over at least one of the engines seem to be lifting slightly - Heritage Railway reports a 76084 Group spokesman as saying it is intended to operate 45170 on the NYMR once 76084 is finished.
