Does anyone know more of the 'railway heritage project being planned for Newport'?

A great shame, I was hoping to visit this in the near future. Perhaps the PBR would be a possible home to his collection, if the aforementioned Newport project does not come to fruition?

I never heard of it. Perhaps that was one of its problems......

Your not the only one.....and i live a few mountains away from it! Whilst its a shame due to the financial difficulties that a museum has to close....I'm sure the PBR would be the ideal place to rehome the collection, or even take over from it.

Apparently there's going to be a room set aside for local railway history in the refurbished Odean Cinema in Newport. We'd like to have the stuff at the PBR but it would be a matter of having to store it for quite some time until we had a suitable venue available to display it.
