    In an earlier than usual start to the season, The Mid Norfolk Railway is running a three day diesel event from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th February, with passenger trains, demonstration good trains/light loco movements.

    There is an intensive timetable, making use of the Thuxton Loop. There is also a 'Fish and Chip' special on the Saturday evening. Full details at http://www.mnr.org.uk/events/ - with a loco roster coming shortly

    Locos in use should be 20069, 31438, 37219, 47580, 50019, 73210 hauling the blue/grey Mk2's and the Class 101 2 car set (101695).

    The 3 CIG set unfortunately won't be ready in time for this event - http://www.southernpreservationgroup.com/news.php
