Just a quick reminder that there is still time to apply for an Invitation for our Enthusiast Day on the 26th of March

    Details on www.statfoldbarnrailway.co.uk

All our usual locos will be running and 4-4-0T Isibutu (Bagnall 2820 of 1945) will be making a welcome return after boiler overhaul.

Also on show for the first time will be our suprise "new" aquisition. People coming on the 26th will have to wait and see!

And of course the first time our newly overhauled mallet Jung 0-4-4-0TT will be seen in action for the first time.

11 locos in steam in total.

Look forward to seeing you on the 26th.

    Thanks

    Henry Noon

Without giving the surprise away, is this something that will be in steam or one to join the back of the restoration Q?

A shame it coincides with at least two other steam galas. I'd like to come but I've arranged to be elsewhere.

Absolutely gutted I will not be able to make this one. Really looking forward to seeing what the new beast is sometime next week then!

I am sure that it will be another fine aquisition for the fleet.

    Have a great weekend guys.

    Rich.

Rich, something tells me that however much we might like it the Yoki will not have let Orian come back :)

If you've got hold of the Jackshaft O&K from Java (not that I can remember if it's 2ft or not), Henry, you and Graham deserve much back patting

    What a day!!!!!!!!!
Many thanks to Graham, Henry, Nick, Phill and the Statfold staff for another great day.
The new Mallet is AWESOME!!! I have got to see it going up Nantmore bank.

I also want to thank Jeff Cogan & Ken Bull, photographers extraordinaire, for getting me involved at Statfold a few years ago as I was able to fulfill an ambition as trainee fireman on 'Harrogate' and got a turn on the regulator. (don't worry Henry, I have not been completely seduced by the 'dark' side).
