On my holidays down in devon at my parents house , my fathers friend has found a crane hidden in the country side near where he lives. The only stamps we could find are a w d stamp and the diesel engine was built by ruston.[IMG]

it could be, im quite amazed at the find. Would love to know how many other things are hidden around the country. The crane is actually up for sale but not publicly. The owner of the collection died and his wife wants to sell the land with everything on, 40k for two and a half acres. But going there, there is prob enough scrap value in metal to pay for the 40k asking price, and i bet you could knock her down in price. If i go again ill take pictures of all the other diesel engines/ trailors/old vans/ road rollers. Burried in brambles.
