53 is running on the 5 coach service trains on both Sat and Sunday.
34028 is running on Sunday on the Wessex Belle Lunch trains on Sunday afternoon complete with headboard.

When are you going to make a Swanage Book?? :)

    Thanks for that, most useful.

I'm afraid I've been beaten to the Swanage book!

May I be a nuisance and repeat the question for this weekend, 9th & 10th April? I'm unexpectedly free and fancy a trip to the seaside! I'm tempted by 850 at the Watercress, but there's no beach at Alresford! So would be grateful to know what's rostered at Swanage! Thanks.

Hopefully Drummond Tank 53 on 5 coach service train with Class 108/121 combo on the other service train for Sat & Sun I believe. On Sunday only I understand Eddystone is on "Drive-Ex" duties so, effectively, we're running a three train timetable.
Always subject to the usual caveats of course!
Let's hope the new Corfe Castle signalbox has a successful entry into service.

The loco allocation is very useful. Thank you. We shall now be visiting the Swanage Railway on Sunday.
Perhaps the roster could be added to the railway's website for maximum publicity. <BJ>

I must apologize, Busby2, for not thanking you erlier for posting this info. I was in mid browse early Saturday morning when my laptop was pinched from right under my nose (by my daughter - long boring story). Anyway, I hate those threads where someone asks a question and doesn't bother thanking the kind person who provides the answer! So, thanks a lot!
I love the Swanage railway and pier and punch & judy, and Beavers for breakfast (ooh err missus).

It was there last year so will enquire if it can be regularly updated again.

No problem. Hope photos came out well. You certainly had the weather - although the Sun was a bit 'glaring' whilst I was driving the DMUs from Swanage to Norden on Sunday. Mustn't complain however.

Love to assist Matt but I've been busy with visiting relatives so not been down on the railway to find out. Hope someone else can help you.

M7 is out again on service trains this weekend. (5 coaches)
34028 is out on the 6 coach Wessex Belle lunch train on Sunday. (There are still one or 2 tables left so call the railway on 01929 425800 to book ASAP!)

3 car DMU is also running, however the lunch train takes its path on Sunday, hence the extra TSO added to the lunch train. (The bar in the belle is open to all however!)

Any loco allocations are subject to the usual caveats about availability, failures, etc. of course.

Any thoughts as to what's running on Sunday (1st May)? Happen to be in the area so will head over if something other than the M7 is running!

    TIA
