    Very nice Phil - had similar joy watching Waverley at Fort William and travelling down Loch Linnhe a few years back. Pity ships don't use the whistle a bit more like steam engines!

    She is sailing home to Glasgow just now as I write. We had two days on board with sails on Calmac and the Rover on an itinerary that sprang off Dobbin's little 2011 do

    She didn't get to Iona or to Inverie on the 30th April but ran the rest of the itinerary - the highlight had to be Gairloch - the furthest north pier she has ever called at - sail on her this year - or you may regret it! Its use it or lose it time - and SHE ISN'T MV - SHE'S PS!!! as in Paddle Steamer
