    Late notice, apologies, but we will have replica Rocket & Locomotion, Sir Berkeley and Furness 20 in steam at Locomotion, along with the replica of Sans Pareil and Hetton Colliery loco on display - plus the usual trade stands etc and a craft fair both days 10am to 5pm, admission free, small charge for train rides.

    Just bumping this, we've steamed everything now! Why not make a day of it and do Bowes plus the model railway show at the Grand Hotel in Bishop Auckland (with attendant beer festival...)?

    Good day today, come tomorrow if you didn't. Your chance from 10am to about 1pm to ride behind Rocket at full regulator up the bank at Shildon, quite something! Then from about 1.30 to 4.30, I have Sir Berkeley to have hold of, also makes a very nice noise.
