I saw Dominion of New Zealand this morning at 8:34am going through Sherburn, what a wonderful sight seeing a fully streamlined A4 in that classic livery thundering down the line. Simply stunning, it really was a treat.

Left Stratford about 10 minutes late.

Cloudy and running at bit late so didn't go to Bishopton, instead found this spot with a bit of help. Then as soon as she was due the sun burst forth and shaded one side of the loco! Never mind plenty of chances up at Bishopton when the Shakespeares start running. Also video of her climbing up to Wilmcote.

What an amazing trip to be on, flying at 'top speed' (I asked) from Donny back to York on the ECML behind an A4 doing what it does best was so memorable. Plus arriving back bang on time according to my watch.

Many thanks to all the crew and staff for looking after us so well (also the food was delicious) on such a long day and thanks to all who shared photo's and videos on here that gave us passengers the 'outside view'.

I actually forgot the Camera, but here are a few 'stills' off the mobile phone camera. - http://www.flickr.com/photos/goldsteam/sets/72157626710125038/
