    Railway Vehicle Preservations (RVP), based on the Great Central Railway, are close to completing the restoration of LNER RB 24278. With this in mind RVP have just launched an appeal to restore the next LNER coach in its collection, this being TTO 23981.

    Just out of interest, how long have RVP been restoring the buffet car which is soon to take to the GCR? I must say looking at the images the vehicle looks fantastic!

    A very long time, but then again they have restored the BZ, four TPO vehicles and probably other things besides while they've been doing it.

    By the way that linked Geograph photo above shows 9116, not 23981.
