    Info from the 'unofficial' website:

Small prairie 5526 in BR black and 0-6-0 3205, currently in BR unlined green - for kettle fans. 5526 is rostered for two auto turns down the full length of the line and one round trip with normal passenger stock. 3205 will make two runs with passenger stock.

Class 122 railcar W55000, works the first and last trains of the day departing Buckfastleigh at 09.20 and 17.00 hours. Sulzer Type 2 D7612, in original two tone green livery follows the Bubblecar at 09.40, running light engine to Bishops Bridge. There it will couple to a goods service, arriving back at Buckfastleigh at 11.23. Early version of BR blue English Electric Type 1 8110 will run two passenger trains and one goods turn. In the late afternoon 8110 will couple to D7612 to pilot the 16.15 Totnes - Buckfastleigh service. Completing the line up will be the 0-6-0DM shunter D2246 and if completed in time 0-6-0DE shunter D3721 which would be making its gala debut.

Followers of steam can remain on the steam hauled services all day, and followers of diesel remain on diesel hauled services. The Real Ale Bar will be open and can be found on those services hauled by D7612 and 8110.

The usual caveat that all locomotives are subject to availability applies.

Add the Refreshment Rooms serving hot food, snacks and drinks during the day, whilst the Bridge View Kiosk at the entrance to the car park will also be open. Also, the gift and model shop Expressway Models, plus main line access at Totnes or free car parking at - what are we waiting for?

There is now a slightly revised timetable, to meet the fact that shunter D2246 is not available for use, and to give D7612 more runs after the non-appearance of the 25 at the WSR's gala the same weekend. Unfortunately Class 09 D3721 is not available for use at this time, however during the gala it is planned at some point to shunt it out from the running shed. The WTT is available here: http://www.sdronline.org.uk/documents/wtt50s60sGala2011revisedversion1.pdf

Should be a good event, with quite a nice engineers train also running, plus an auto train and the railcar. Let's hope for more of the same weather as we've seen in the last week in sunny Devon!

Standard fares as always, £10 adult rover for the day, £6 for children.

    Excellent value.

I have to admit that the 09 trundling down with half a dozen trucks would be rather nice, but maybe in November? Meanwhile, there are plenty of other attractions to make it a thumping good tenner's worth.
