    Nothing showing on UKSteam at the moment, other than she's booked to run via Carlisle, which seems a peculiar way to go, but there it is. I'm looking out for times myself, so I can pass 'em on to friends & family.

    Coming south ready for Canterbury trip on 18th June ?????? Also, why the diesel and coaches to from Crewe to Tyne to meet her and then come back to Crewe ?? !! Is it a test run or am I missing something ? Cheers

    Yes, it is a loaded test run Tyne Yard-Carlisle-Crewe. Then engine and coach Crewe-Didcot GWS on Thursday. It will be in steam at Didcot on Saturday.

    I think I will go to see 60163 this evening perhaps at Warrington BQ as the light will be going then if running to time or possibly late as per Simons post above. There has been a lot of rain to alleviate the fire risk in the Northwest but very little steam recently.

    Still no sign of 60163 at Plawsworth near Durham... Now at least 1 hour 25 down.

    With a booked 2 hour layover at Tyne Yard, I thought that they would pull a fair bit back but even so, that is a very impressive recovery.
