SBR Enthusiast Day 4/6/11 + Visit by Linda from the FR

We are pleased to announce that the Ffestiniog Railway are very kindly bringing Linda (HE 590 of 1893) to our Enthusiasts Day on the 4th of June.

We understand this is is the first time Linda has left Wales so we are very grateful to the FR/WHR Management for arranging this.

Including Linda, there will be 11 locos in steam, together with all the usual static exhibits and ongoing restoration projects.

Hello Henry, Is Jung 3175 going to be ready for June 6th?

 

Oops sorry, I meant June 4th.

 

Unfortunately not. We had to take labour off it to fix our Mallet.

It will look fairly complete but not fully piped up.

Definitely September though!

Only a couple of days to go now so its fingers crossed for the weather!

For those who are coming we`ve got a nice suprise waiting. We have an illustrious new addition to the Statfold stable.

As you arrive it will be in the yard, next to the Corpet.

I`ll post more details after the 4th.
