    Very well put!

It is not Steam dreams fault, it is headache landed on them by network rail, they have done their damnedest to make sure the the tour runs - which is what they have achieved, to have people on here publicly slagging them off does no good for anyone (remember this is an open forum you don't have to log in to see the posts, so you never know who you might be upsetting.) let alone the reputation of this forum, remember what happened to the RTC thread.........................

To add another spanner to this works the booked waterstop at Abergavenny may not take place.

That might make the chase from STJ to Llanfihangel a bit tight !

Hi Neil, I know you have good sources. Can you tell us a little more, please? Will there be a different stop elsewhere? I know a couple of chaps hoping to get pictures near STJ and Llanvihangel... Thanks in advance.

There are a few issues regarding using the loop that have arisen.

Interesting. So where can Spud I wait for the Milford Haven train? Maindee? Could they get to Hereford in time? Can't think of anything in between. Can they take water at Maindee? Even so, they'd still need a top-up before Shrewsbury, wouldn't they?

Railtours Live is going to earn its fee on Saturday!

That's good news. Let's hope all goes well now.

6024 was warming up nicely this morning as I drove past Barton Hill (one bonus of my new job!) - disappeared by 18:00 so not sure if he was elsewhere on shed or had already gone to Parkway ready for tommorow. (DoG lit up ready for Sunday as I came home)

Does anyone know where the water stop will be on the outbound leg if there is one as UK steam doesnt show one on the out leg but 2 on the return leg.

    Thanks

Looked good through Severn Tunnel Junct and stormed Llanfihangel from a standing start at Abergavenny loop. Video of both here. Blowing noisily throughout which spoilt the exhaust sound somewhat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-iT7M2FmmM
