CLASS 115 DMU AT EMR SCRAP YARD

Please can anyone update me on what is happening over this DMU as it seems that all has gone quiet. I HOPE someone can save this unit, it seems a shame to scrap it.
Also is there any news on what is happening to the GLOU - WARKS railways class 108 DMU?:confused1:

Sorry to ask. But who sold the 115 unit for scrap?

 

It was from the Barry railway. IIRC it got a bit cooked by a fire, but is not that badly damaged. The unfortunate thing is, alot of work had been put into restoring it before it got abandoned. Must be heartbreaking for volunteers to see their efforts turned into razor blades.

I have been speaking to the scrap man and to other parties.

I can confirm the DMU is still available, the price for all three direct from scrap man is £17500 plus VAT the guide or starting price for the two power cars via CAR Services is £9500 each plus VAT.
