Hi the MNR steam gala timetable, with loco allocations is now available on the MNR website http://www.mnr.org.uk/events/gala/
There will also be demonstrations at Dereham station between trains with the railways ballast hoppers using either 47406 or 9466. All locomotives will be facing chimney towards Wymondham.

    regards George

Thanks for the update George. Interesting timetable. Shame there isn't a return goods run to Wymondham early in the morning or to coincide with the the fish 'n' chip run on Saturday evening. Demos in Dereham yard sound good. Can't wait!

Great Gala from the MNR, although I realise many established heritage lines have 3 or more in steam on a normal weekend timetable, this has to be a success for the Norfolk line.
Looks like 6023 has performed well over the running in period and I look forward to SVR and GCR Galas. Pannier and Jinty were excellent supporting 6023 with very spirited performances. Well done to all concerned.

A view of the loco's on Friday, before the weather turned, considering how bad it was at times over the weekend, the MNR is really pleased with how many people came, if anybody got a picture of the King with the rainbow in the background at Wymondham on Sunday I would really like to see it!,

    regards George
